Levelok overcomes the challenges presented by the stretch in the hoist rope when loading or offloading men and heavy equipment - or loading men, heavy equipment or ore in vertical mine shaft skips and cages.

Levelok provides for the safe and rapid transfer of men, material and ore with mine conveyances used in vertical shafts.

How this is accomplished

Hydraulically powered clamps hold the conveyance firmly in position during the loading process. On system de-activation, there is a controlled release of the clamps, which allows the conveyance to slide, and safely take up the rope stretch, without any bounce or oscillation.
